For death is the wages of sin; but eternal life is the gift of God through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Ye are they who have continued with in me in my temptations. And I appoint to you a kingdom, as my Father to me, That ye may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom, and sit on thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
In my Father's house are many mansions; if not, I would have told you.
For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle be dissolved, we have a building from God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.
But they now desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God; for he hath prepared a city for them.
After this I saw, and behold a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and tribes, and people, and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes and palms in their hands. And they cry with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God who sitteth on the throne and to the Lamb.
And I say unto you, That many shall come from the east and west, and shall sit down with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven.
And they shall come from the east and the west, and the north and the south, and shall sit down in the kingdom of God.
And they sing a new song, saying, Worthy art thou to take the book and to open the seals thereof; for thou wast slain and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood, out of every tribe, and tongue, and people, and nation,
And he said to me, These are they who come out of great affliction, and they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
Seeing ye know ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation delivered by tradition from your fathers, But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot,
Happy are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in by the gates into the city.
Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows. And I say to you, Whosoever shall confess me before men, him shall the Son of man also confess before the angels of God.
Not every one that saith to me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven, but he that doth the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name, and in thy name have cast out devils, and in thy name have done many wonderful works? And then will I declare to them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.
And we all with unveiled face, beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are transformed into the same image, from glory to glory, as by the Spirit of the Lord.
Who will transform our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, acccording to the mighty working, whereby he is able even to subject all things to himself.
Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know, when he shall appear, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is.
By which he hath given us exceeding great and precious promises, that by these, having escaped the corruption which is in the world thro' desire, ye may become partakers of the divine nature:
He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith to the churches. To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the paradise of my God.
He that overcometh, I will give him to sit with me on my throne, as I also overcame, and sat down with my Father on his throne.
And I heard a great voice saying from heaven to them, Come up hither. And they went up to heaven in a cloud, and their enemies beheld them.
For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven, with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God; and the dead in Christ shall rise first. Then we who are alive, who are left, shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air; and so shall we be ever with the Lord.
And I heard a loud voice out of heaven saying, Behold the tabernacle of God with men, and he will dwell with them; and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them and be their God.
I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to myself, that where I am, ye may be also.
Then we who are alive, who are left, shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air; and so shall we be ever with the Lord.
His lord said to him, Well done, good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things; I will set thee over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.
I say to you, Thus joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, who do not need repentance.
I have spoken these things to you, that my joy might remain in you, and your joy might be full.
For what is our hope, or joy, or crown of rejoicing? Are not ye also before our Lord Jesus at his coming? For ye are our glory and joy.
who for the joy that was set before him, endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right-hand of the throne of God.
A manifest token of the righteous judgment of God, that ye may be accounted, worthy of the kingdom of God; for which also ye suffer. Seeing it is a righteous thing with God, to recompence affliction to them that afflict you. And to you that are afflicted rest with us, at the revelation of the Lord Jesus from heaven with his mighty angels,
For we that have believed, do enter into the rest; as he said, I have sworn in my wrath, They shall not enter into my rest, though the works were finished from the foundation of the world.
And I heard a voice out of heaven, saying to me, Write: From henceforth happy are the dead who die in the Lord: Yea (saith the Spirit) that they may rest from their labours. Their works follow them.
they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven.
For when they rise from the dead, they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels who are in heaven.
But they who are accounted worthy to obtaan that world, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage. For neither can they die any more; for they are equal to angels, and are the children of God, being the children of the resurrection.
And the city hath no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine on it; for the glory of God hath inlightened it, and the Lamb is the lamp thereof.
Then shall the righteous shine forth as the Sun in the kingdom of their Father. He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.
For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh out for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory:
But ye are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a purchased people, that ye may shew forth the virtues of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light: Who in time past were not a people, but now are the people of God;
Father, I will that these also whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am, that they may behold my glory which thou hast given me; for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.
as a father his own children, And charged you to walk worthy of God, who hath called you to his kingdom and glory.
And when the chief shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive the crown of glory that fadeth not away.
For I reckon that the sufferings of the present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
The elders that are among you I exhort, who am a fellow-elder, and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and likewise a partaker of the glory which shall be revealed,
